Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into pieces. Drain excess fat.
Spread the bread cubes evenly in the baking dish and top with cooked sausage.
Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together and pour evenly over the dish.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 40–45 minutes until set and lightly golden.
Notes
This casserole can be assembled ahead of time and baked fresh the next morning.
