To make the dressing, whisk together mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and black pepper in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with the dressing until well-coated.
Top with croutons and extra grated Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately or chill for 5 minutes before serving.

For extra flavor, you can add grilled chicken or bacon bits. To make the dressing lighter, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
