Ingredients

  • 2 cans Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • One and a half cups of milk
  • 4 cups of green beans cooked fresh or frozen
  • 1 1/2 cups French cooked onions
  • Salt and pepper as desired

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the green beans (if using fresh, steam or blanch them; for frozen, thaw).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup with 1 ½ cups of milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the cooked green beans in a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour the creamy soup mixture over the beans.
  • Top with half of the French fried onions.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, then remove and add the remaining French fried onions on top.
  • Bake for an additional 5 minutes until the onions are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top before baking or mix in sautéed mushrooms. Ensure you don’t add too much milk to avoid a runny casserole.
