  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze optional
  • 1/2 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Slice tomatoes and mozzarella into even rounds.
  • On a serving platter, alternate slices of tomato, mozzarella, and fresh basil leaves in a circular or layered pattern.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze if using.
  • Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Notes
