Ingredients
  

Casserole Base

  • 450 g breakfast sausage pork or turkey
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups bread cubes day-old bread
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
  • Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Spread bread cubes evenly in the baking dish and top with cooked sausage.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together, then pour over the dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake for 40–45 minutes until set and golden.

Notes

You can prepare this casserole the night before and bake it fresh in the morning.
