Instructions
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
While the burgers are cooking, prepare the special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sriracha, and dijon mustard in a small bowl.
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.
Assemble the burgers: Spread the special sauce on the bottom bun, add the cheese-covered patty, and top with the other bun.
Notes
For added crunch, top with pickles or lettuce. Feel free to adjust the spice level of the sauce to suit your taste!
