Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat and sauté the onion until soft.
  • Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp and cook until just pink.
  • Pour in broth, season, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in cream and gently heat before serving.
