Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium Cucumbers sliced thin
  • 1/4 piece Red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh dill chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar optional for sweetness
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers and red onion.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, white wine vinegar, sugar (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and onions, and toss to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle with fresh dill and toss again.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

This cucumber salad is best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for a few hours. The longer it sits, the more the flavors develop.
