Easy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 200 g spaghetti whole wheat or gluten-free optional
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
  • 1/2 cup broccoli steamed
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried basil. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from heat, let rest, and slice thinly.
  • Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add cooked spaghetti and toss to coat in the garlic oil.
  • Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the pasta and toss until the cheese has melted and the pasta is coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Plate the pasta, top with sliced chicken breast, and serve with steamed broccoli on the side. Garnish with fresh basil for extra flavor.
