- 2 cups sour cherries pitted (or substitute with sweet cherries, adjusting sugar)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar divided
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour for tossing with cherries
