This fresh fall salad combines apples, pears, pomegranate, and crunchy nuts, all tossed in a light, tangy dressing for a nutritious and delicious autumn dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Mixed greens
  • 1 medium Apple thinly sliced
  • 1 medium Pear thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup Walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup Pecans chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, thinly sliced apple, thinly sliced pear, and pomegranate seeds.
  • In a small skillet, toast the walnuts and pecans over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant.
  • Add the toasted walnuts and pecans to the salad bowl and toss gently to combine.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This salad can be made ahead of time by preparing the ingredients and dressing separately. Toss everything together just before serving to keep the greens crisp.
