Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix together the melted butter and sugar.
  • Beat in the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Add the flour and stir to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until set.
  • Allow the bars to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For an extra twist, you can dust the bars with powdered sugar or add a drizzle of glaze.
