Ingredients
  

  • Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows about 10 oz
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Orange food coloring gel food coloring for color

Candy Decorations

  • 12 candy corn for pumpkin stems
  • 1/4 cup green frosting for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, then add the marshmallows. Stir continuously until they are completely melted and smooth.
  • Once melted, add the vanilla extract and a few drops of orange food coloring to achieve a pumpkin-like color.
  • Add the Rice Krispies cereal and stir until all the cereal is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes before shaping it into small pumpkin shapes. Use buttered hands to shape them into rounded balls.
  • Place a candy corn piece on top of each 'pumpkin' to create a stem. You can use a small amount of green frosting around the base of the stem for added decoration.

Notes

For extra creativity, you can add green candy or sprinkles around the pumpkins to resemble pumpkin vines!
