Instructions
In a slow cooker, combine the beef stew meat, chopped carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, beef broth, tomato paste, bay leaves, and thyme.
Stir to combine all ingredients, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours, until the beef and vegetables are tender.
About 30 minutes before serving, add the frozen peas to the stew and continue cooking.
Serve hot and enjoy the comforting flavors of this hearty beef stew.
Notes
This stew is perfect with some crusty bread for dipping, and it’s even better the next day as leftovers!
