Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Electric Mixer

Ingredients

Pretzel Crust

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar

Cream Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip) thawed

Strawberry Layer

  • 6 oz strawberry gelatin mix (Jell-O)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press mixture into a 9x13-inch dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until fully combined. Spread over cooled pretzel crust, ensuring edges are sealed to prevent leaks.
  • In a separate bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Let cool slightly, then stir in sliced strawberries. Chill mixture for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Pour strawberry gelatin mixture over the cream layer. Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours until firm. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

For extra flavor, top with fresh whipped cream or extra strawberry slices before serving. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
