Ingredients
  

  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • 1. Slice the cucumbers and red onion thinly and place them in a large bowl.
  • 2. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the vegetables and let them sit for 10 minutes to release excess water.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar.
  • 4. Pour the dressing over the cucumber and onion mixture and toss well.
  • 5. Garnish with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes for a flavorful crunch.
  • 6. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For an added kick, adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preference.
If you like a sweeter version, increase the sugar slightly.
